Micro-Star International (MSI) Taiwan based computer hardware manufacturer and well known for its desktop computer motherboards and graphic cards in India, company is planning to launch WiMAX enabled laptops in Indian market in next year. MSI U-series, X-slim series and classic series laptops will surely get benefits of that.
Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) is well-known for its high speed internet access up to 10 Mbps wirelessly. WiMAX is based on the IEEE 802.16 standard. In India WiMAX is in early stages and it has a great future ahead in country, also this is beneficial for MSI growth also.
According to experts in this sector predicts that- till 2012, 20 percent of the world’s WiMAX user base is form India with more than 19 million WiMAX subscribers.
If MSI launch its WiMAX enabled laptops, it will be the first Taiwan based company to receive WiMAX Forum certification.
Wimax offer more bandwidth and more services than traditional microwave communications. :,-
