Well-known storage products manufacturer Western Digital (popularly known as WD) introduced new My Passport Studio portable drives featuring the super-fast FireWire 800 interface and a customizable e-label. These ultra portable hard drives are made especially for MAC systems and available in 320 GB, 500 GB and 640 GB storage capacities.
My Passport Studio drives are created for Mac computers, compatible with Apple TimeMachine software. Drive also features with WD SmartWare backup software and 256-bit hardware-based encryption security. The e-label smart display always shows available capacity and drive locked/unlocked status. Utilizing e-paper technology, the information on the display remains clearly visible, even when the drive is unplugged.
