Turkcell and Nokia today announced messaging service in Turkey for Turkcell customers, Nokia Messaging push email service will be expected to available in the end of the first half 2010.

As one of the world’s leading mobile devices manufacturer, Nokia is a strong partner to fulfill the growing potential for mobile e-mail and mobile Internet services,” stated Sureyya Ciliv, Chief Executive Officer of Turkcell.
“Nokia wants to make mobile email available for as many people as possible, and the agreement with Turkcell is an important milestone. We have seen high demand for messaging devices like Nokia E71 and Nokia E72 in Turkey and believe there is great potential for the service in the market,” said Anssi Vanjoki, Executive Vice President, Nokia.
Nokia Messaging service will be available with a range of smart phones and mobile phones, users simply need to enter their email address and password to get emails pushed directly to the home screen of their device. With this service, users can read, send, forward and reply to emails and download, read and attach files on the move. Turkcell customers can have up to 10 personal email accounts pushed directly to their Nokia device such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Windows Live Hotmail e-mail services.
