Sony Ericsson Yendo Walkman series touch screen smartphoneSony Ericsson announces the Sony Ericsson Yendo, the first touch screen phone in well known SE Walkman series which combines music, social networking and communication in one phone. Sony Ericsson uses X10 mini and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro four corner touch user interface in Sony Ericsson Yendo mobile phone.

Marrying the popular four corner UI debuted on the successful Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini, with our award winning Walkman phone experience, consumers now have a unique Communication Entertainment experience.” Said Jenny Maltesson, Global Product Marketing Manager, Sony Ericsson.

With 2.6 inch display and 156Mhz ARM946 CPU, Sony Ericsson Yendo is a walkman series phone so it is obvious that the phone comes with many Walkman series features like, Touch TrackID,  MediaGo and PlayNow. This social network friendly phone supports Facebook, Twitter, or Orkut and give facility to users to upload photos straight to the web or send to friends with its 2 megapixel camera. Additionally MediaGo application allows user to transfer music from a PC to the mobile phone. With four corner touch user interface, use can access Walkman player, contacts, keypad (by default) instantly. Phone comes with 3.5 mm audio jack and it supports GSM GPRS/EDGE Rx 850/1900 and GSM GPRS/EDGE Rx 900/1800 networks.

Sony Ericsson Yendo will be available in selected markets from Q3 and will be available in  Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Silver, White and Yellow colors.
