Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. launches the Wave 2 (S5250) and Wave 2 Pro (S5330) smart phones based on Bada platform. Samsung showcase both the devices at the CommunicAsia conference in Singapore. Both the phone are comes with mail, IM and social networking features and pre-installed with Facebook and Twitter apps, 3.5mm ear jack and an intuitive menu for music and other content. WAVE 2 Pro (S5330) has full QWERTY keyboard while WAVE 2 (S5250) is bar style smartphone.

“The Wave 2 and Wave 2 Pro are testament to Samsung’s continuing commitment to deliver a smartphone for every lifestyle,” said JK Shin, President and head of the Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics. “I expect significant growth of bada smartphones volume thanks to the launch of mass market targeting Wave 2 and Wave 2 Pro. We will continue to invest in our open bada platform and offer a wide range of choices and experiences for consumers.”

Samsung Bada platform delivers rich mobile experience to the users features with gaming, navigation, social networking, e-book, health and lifestyle applications additionally Samsung Apps gives access to wide range of mobile applications. Samsung Kies allows you to browse Samsung Apps on your PC and comes in handy for downloading large files and content. Java Applications will also be offered on Samsung Apps for Wave 2 and Wave Pro.

The Samsung Wave 2 (S5250) and Wave 2 Pro (S5330) will be available from August in Russia and South East Asia in metallic black, pearl white and romantic pink color options.
