Samsung has announced Jet 2, its latest 3G, touchscreen handset in India. Last Year Company announced Jet in CommunicAsia 2009. There is noting much to say about this newly introduced Samsung Jet 2 mobile phone. The hardware specifications are as it is, but yees there are some software and user interface enhancements adopted by Samsung in this new phone.
Samsung Jet has 3.1 inch touchscreen WVGA AMOLED display with 16 million colors. WVGA AMOLED screen has four times higher than a WQVGA display.800MHz application processor makes this phone more powerful and delivers great performance.Features like, Samsung’s TouchWiz (older version) user interface,3D media gate UI and motion-response UI, smart unlock and customizable widget screen. Jet supports multiple windows and it allows users to install java based applications.
The Dolfin Web browser lets users surf the net and access popular websites, especially social networking sites, with ease and speed. It supports latest smartphone features like, multi-task manager and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.Samsung Jet 2 has 5 mega-pixel auto focus camera, built-in GPS, DNSe and SRS Sound Effect technology for better sound quality, and DivX and XviD video support for videos.
Other UI enhancements which Samsung claim to provide superior and differentiated experience. Media gate UI features with one finger zoom and it can be use for web browsing and viewing photos, TXT, PDF and PPT files.
With all those hardware specifications of old Samsung Jet and some software enhancements, phone costs Rs. 19,500 and it is now available in all mobile stores across India.
