RM FM45 connector Reichle and De Massari introduced FM45 connector in India.Swiss cabling specialist and leading supplier of passive cabling solutions for high-quality communication networks Reichle and De-Massari (R&M) introduced FM45, the Cat 5e connector in India.FM45 is the first tool-free wireable, field terminable, 8-wire RJ45 connector with up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet transmission capacity.

The FM45 is a field-terminable eight-pin Cat. 5e / RJ45 connector that can be wired tool-free. It can be installed in any location in only a few steps, thereby vastly increasing overall flexibility during the set-up, modification, maintenance and repair of data and communication networks. IDC technology (IDC = Insulation Displacement Contact) ensures reliable, fault-free, indestructible and permanent contacting – even in environments subject to heavy vibrations or aggressive substances.

FM45 connector can be used in large enterprises, industrial plants, offices and residential buildings for flexible, quick cabling. Networking engineer can be install this connector without special tools. Also it can be lined up horizontally as well as vertically. The FM45 meets Ethernet requirements in the area of automation (IEC 61918 Draft) as well as in the industrial LAN (ISO/IEC 24702 or EN 50173-3 Draft) and in structured building cabling (ISO/IEC 11801 or EN 50173-1).

Connecting with a click:
Remove cable sheath. Insert the wires according to the color code into wiring block – without stripping. Press the cover tight to ensure the conductors make contact. Slide the housing in place. Tighten the coupling nut and the connection is complete.

Multi-functional applications:
Expand distributors, integrate new machines or connect webcams to the LAN. The FM45 can be used anywhere – as standard for IP20 protection level upgradeable to IP67 with color coding for greater security.
