Nokia today introduced another affordable, 2G network compatible, Symbian series 40 based mobile phone in India, Nokia 2690.The phone comes with Nokia Life Tools to provide agricultural, educational and entertainment services on the move.

Nokia 2690 has 1.8 inches TFT color screen 256K colors and has 3.5 mm audio jack, expandable memory, stereo FM radio,MP3 music player, up to 2,000 contacts phonebook, Bluetooth with A2DP,GPRS,EDGE,WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML browser and has a VGA camera with is capable of video recording at 15fps (frames per second).

Nokia 2690 support email on the device through Ovi Mail .Phone has Li-Ion 860 mAh (BL-4C) battery with talk time of up to 4.5 hours and a standby of 336 hours. Phone is available in Graphite, White silver, Hot pink and Blue colors at a retail price tag of Rs. 2750.
