Looks like Microsoft wants to give surprise to all Windows mobile lovers, a news spread over internet about windows mobile 6.6 before Windows mobile 7 version and company is planning to launch this new windows mobile operating system in month of February 2010 in Mobile World Congress 2010.
Windows Mobile 6.6 is codenamed as Maldives and it is supported for capacitive touch screens and there are several new improvements in this new OS. Microsoft is not yet officially announces the release of Windows Mobile 6.6 but several authentic news sources release this news over internet so there is something really cooking in Microsoft!
If WM 6.5 release on its mentioned date (if this news is not a rumor) then there might be chances of delay in release of WM 7.As per Microsoft plans, WM 7 is expected to release end of 2010 but it may now postpone the launch of Windows Mobile 7 to 2011.
