Asus India recently launched three Eee PC Seashell series netbooks, Eee PC 1008HA, Eee PC 1005HA and Eee PC 1101HA in Indian market. All the netbooks comes with opalescent and glossy exterior is crafted by the innovative in-Mold Roller technology and powered by Windows XP Home operating system.
Eee PC 1008HA has 10.1 inch LED netbook powered by Intel Atom N280 processor. Has in built 1GB DDR2 RAM upgradeable to 2GB with 160GB HDD.1008HA has 3-cell Li -Polymer battery which lasts for 6 hrs. For connectivity options it has WLAN 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth. Other feature includes 1.3M Pixel camera, Hi-Definition Audio CODEC, Stereo speaker and Digital Array Mic. This Ultra Slim Model measures just 262mm(W) x 178mm(D) x 18mm~ 25.7mm(H) and weight just 1.1Kg. Exclusive VGA Dongle at the back side of Eee PC 1008HA.
Eee PC 1005HA is 10.1inch LED display netbook with similar processor and RAM configuration as mentioned above with 160GB 2.5 inch SATA II 5400RPM HDD.6-cell 5600mAh Li-ion works continuously for 10.5 hrs in standard conditions. With dimension of 262mm (W) x 178mm (D) x 25.9mm~ 36.5mm (H) this netbooks weights just 1.27Kg.
Third netbook, Eee PC 1101HA has 11.6 inch LED HD Widescreen Display and has Intel Atom Z520 (US15W) processor. In this PC, user can choose battery types as per requirements, 6-Cell 48Wh Li-ion Battery (9.5hrs) and 6-Cell 63Wh Li-ion Battery (11hrs). 1GB DDR2 RAM upgradeable to 2GB with 160GB HDD, 1.3M Pixels camera, WLAN 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, Hi-Definition Audio (Dolby Certificated), Stereo speaker, Digital Array Mic are some other features of this Eee PC.
Eee docking software suite is available with 1005HA and 1101HA which contains different user friendly utilities like, Eee Docking, Eee Sharing, Eee Xperience and Eee Tools.
