HTC Corporation today announces the availability of HTC Sense-based, Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional powered mobile phone, HTC HD mini in Indian market. The phone features with 3.2 inches HVGA resolution capacitive flat Touch screen with multi-touch support, Pick-to-mute feature, 5.0 megapixel camera with Geo-tagging and touch focus.
“The HTC HD mini fulfils a desire from some customers to bring the capabilities and experience of the HTC HD2 to a more compact design,” said Ajay Sharma, Country Head, HTC India. “The integration of HTC Sense and Windows Phone on HD mini and HD2 gives customers an additional choice for an advanced Windows mobile phone that is sleek, well crafted and easy to use.”
With Qualcomm MSM 7227, 600 MHz CPU, HTC HD mini has 384 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM, expandable microSD card slot for further memory expansion up to 32GB.It is a 3G enabled phone and for data access, phone has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP.HTC HD mini also works as a Wi-Fi router also.
Phone is based on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional operating system and has Facebook, Twitter integration, Pocket Office for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, PDF viewer and YouTube client. Phone has several special features, 3.5mm audio jack, Ambient Light Sensor, FM Radio, HTC Sense, Stocks, Google Map, Windows Market Place, Microsoft My phone applications and GPS, with A-GPS support.
The new HTC HD mini will be available at a retail price tag of Rs. 23,490 at all authorized HTC resellers across the country.
