NTT DOCOMO, INC. today announces the availability of Sony Xperia X10 handset in Japanese market, which is scheduled to go on sale this April. Xperia X10 is compatible with FOMA HIGH-SPEED, DOCOMO’s HSUPA/HSDPA data-communication service for real high speed internet which is 2.0 Mbps upload and 7.2 Mbps download speed.
Sony Xperia X10 is Android OS 1.6 based phone ans has powerful Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor,has 256 MB RAM with internal 1GB storage and up to 16GB support (2GB card included).Features with TFT capacitive touchscreen 4.0 inches with 65K colors and 480 x 854 pixels. Phone is fully equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, YouTube and Picasa for video and photo sharing, Android Market for thousands of applications, 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS support, Scratch-resistant surface, Accelerometer and Google services such as Google search, Google Maps and Gmail are preloaded. 8 mega-pixel camera with autofocus and LED flash and features with Touch focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection are some camera features of this phone.

Measuring just 119 x 63 x 13.1 mm, and weight of 139 grams, X10 has Li-Po 1500 mAh (BST-41) battery with talk time of 290 minutes on 3G and 270 minutes on GSM networks. Phone will be available in month of April around the country and has Sensuous Black and Luster White color options.
