ASUSTeK Computer Inc. today introduced ultra-portable, slim and stylish DR-900 E-Reader. ASUS DR-900 E-Reader is equipped with Wi-Fi or optional 3G connectivity. According to ASUS, with single charge user can read over 10,000 pages, or twenty 400-page novels.
DR-900 has 9 inch monochromatic ePaper display with 1024 x 768 resolution which is developed by SiPix .This touch screen reader works in portrait or landscape mode to best fit the content format by automatically re-orienting text.DR-900 weights just 370grams and has 4GB internal memory additionally SD Card slot allows user to expand memory.
Asus DR-900 E-Reader equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and battery life up to 4 days with Wi-Fi enabled; up to two weeks with Wi-Fi disabled, E-Reader takes approximately 3.5 hours to charge.DR-900 features with micro USB 2.0, 3.5mm stereo audio jack, built-in stereo speakers and supports various text and audio formats.
Asus not yet announce the availability and price tag of DR-900 E-Reader.
